One store, every market, done right.

StoreEngine shows every visitor the right price, the right tax treatment, and the right checkout — without stacking on extra plugins. Multi-currency pricing, real-time EU and UK VAT validation, GDPR consent logging and legal invoicing are all built in from day one.

Show every visitor their local price, automatically

StoreEngine detects a visitor’s country and displays prices in their local currency, with live exchange rates pulled from multiple independent providers. No manual price lists, no separate plugin to bolt on.

Auto detection

Currency set by visitor location.

Live exchange rates

Refreshed hourly, daily, or on demand.

Manual switcher

Visitors can override the detected currency.

Clean settlement

Checkout always settles in your basecurrency.

Multi-currency pricing
EU & UK VAT validation

Real-time VAT validation, reverse charge applied automatically

StoreEngine checks a business buyer’s VAT number against EU VIES and UK HMRC the moment it’s entered at checkout. Here’s what happens on that one number.

Number entered

Buyer types a VAT registration number at checkout.

Checked live

Validated against EU VIES or UK HMRC in real time.

Reverse charge applied

Valid intra-EU business numbers get 0% VAT automatically.

Order recorded

Company name, VAT ID and result stored on the order.

The paperwork EU law requires, generated for you

Selling into Germany and the wider EU comes with its own legal checklist — unit pricing, checkout wording, withdrawal notices and signed terms. StoreEngine ships all of it natively, with nothing extra to configure.

Built-in legal compliance
GDPR consent

Consent logged with a timestamp, on every order

A consent checkbox sits at checkout for privacy policy acceptance and, optionally, marketing opt-in. Every event is stored as an auditable record you can export on request.

Configurable fields

Required and optional consent, set per checkout.

Timestamped events

Timestamp and IP logged on every consent.

Stored on the order

No separate consent system to check.

Exportable log

Ready for an authority or customer request.

Go international in three steps

Turn on the settings once — every visitor, in every market, gets the right experience after
that.

Set your base currency

Attach files directly, connect an AWS S3 bucket for large assets, or generate a license key pool.

Enable VAT & compliance

Switch on VAT number capture, upload your legal PDFs, and GDPR consent activates at checkout.

Sell to every market

Every order carries the right price, tax treatment and compliance record — no matter where it’s from.

Everything a cross-border store needs

Pricing, tax, legal documents and shipping rules for selling beyond your home market — in
one plugin.

Invoicing & Legal PDFs

Branded, VAT-compliant invoice PDFs
generated per order and attached to the
confirmation email automatically.

Product Schema & SEO

JSON-LD product schema generated automatically, working alongside the SEO plugin you already use.

OSS/IOSS Threshold Tracking

Keep an eye on the EU cross-border sales threshold and know before you need to register for OSS.

Multi-Language Storefronts

Localize product content and checkout copy soevery market reads and buys in its own language.

Country-Based Shipping Rules

Restrict shipping to specific countries or set country-specific rates for export-controlled goods.

Multiple Rate Providers

Live exchange rates sourced from several independent providers, refreshed on the schedule you choose.

International selling questions,
answered

Does StoreEngine handle EU VAT and UK VAT separately?

Yes. EU business buyers are validated in real time against the VIES database; UK business buyers are validated separately against HMRC, since the UK sits outside the EU VAT system. Both checks run in the same StoreEngine checkout.

How does GDPR consent logging work?

A consent checkbox is added to checkout for privacy policy and, optionally, marketing consent. When a buyer places an order, that consent is logged with a timestamp, IP address and the order reference — an auditable record you can export on request.

Will visitors be charged in their local currency?

Visitors see prices in their detected local currency automatically. Charging in that same currency at checkout, rather than your base currency, is available as an additional configuration on top of the default display conversion.

What legal documents does StoreEngine generate for me?

StoreEngine displays the required unit price and checkout button wording automatically, generates a right-of-withdrawal PDF per order, and attaches your own uploaded terms & conditions PDF to every confirmation email.
