How does file delivery work after payment?
The moment a payment is confirmed, StoreEngine generates a secure download link and emails it to the buyer automatically — no manual action needed. Buyers can also re-download from their account dashboard within your set limits.
Can I stop buyers from sharing download links?
Yes. Set a per-file download count limit and an expiry date after which the link stops working. For S3-hosted files, every download request generates a new signed URL that expires within minutes, so a permanent shared link is never possible.
Do I need my own AWS account for S3 storage?
Yes. Connect your own AWS S3 bucket in StoreEngine settings. Your files stay in your own AWS account — StoreEngine never stores them on its servers — so you keep full control and S3’s CDN-backed delivery speed.
