Vendors Sell. You Collect the Commission.

Vendor registration, product listings, commission management, automated payouts, and per-vendor analytics — the core marketplace is free. Advanced payouts API and dropshipping margin tracking in Pro.

What kind of marketplace are you building?

Vendor registration, product listings, order fulfilment — free.

Vendors register through a front-end form, manage their own product listings, and fulfil orders from their own vendor dashboard — all without admin involvement for each action. Core marketplace functionality ships in the free tier.

License and Managment

Automated payouts. Per-vendor sales breakdown.

Pro adds the payouts API — schedule automatic payouts to vendor accounts via Payoneer or bank transfer. Per-vendor analytics give you and each vendor a breakdown of sales volume, commission earned, top products, and refund rate.

True margin per order — supplier cost, courier, and net profit.

Maintain a supplier database with per-SKU cost prices. When a dropship order comes in, StoreEngine tracks the sale price, supplier cost, and courier cost to give you real net profit per order — not just revenue.

Checkout Flexibility

OTP verification blocks fraudulent orders before they ship.

Fraudulent orders are costly — products dispatched and never paid for erode your margin fast. StoreEngine’s OTP verification requires phone or email confirmation before an order is accepted, blocking bad actors at checkout before they reach your fulfilment team.

Common Questions

Do I need WooCommerce to run a marketplace with StoreEngine?

No. StoreEngine is a standalone eCommerce plugin for WordPress. The multi-vendor marketplace feature is built directly into StoreEngine — no WooCommerce, no Dokan, no additional plugin required to get vendor registration, commissions, and order management running.

What’s included in the free tier vs Pro for marketplace?

Free includes: vendor registration, front-end product management, per-vendor commission rates, withdrawal requests, and order notifications. Pro adds the automated payouts API (scheduled payments to vendors), per-vendor analytics dashboards, and advanced supplier and dropshipping margin tracking.

How do vendor payouts work?

In the free tier, vendors submit a withdrawal request and admins approve and process manually. In Pro, the payouts API lets you schedule automatic payouts — weekly, biweekly, or monthly — directly to vendor Payoneer accounts or bank transfers, with a full payout history per vendor.

How does OTP fraud prevention work?

When a customer places an order, StoreEngine sends a one-time code via SMS (Twilio or Vonage) or email. The order is only accepted after the customer enters the correct code. Failed attempts are logged. Orders that don’t pass OTP verification are never sent to fulfilment.

Can I track true profit on dropship orders?

Yes. Set a cost price per product from your supplier database. When an order is fulfilled, the shipping carrier cost is also logged. StoreEngine calculates net profit per order as: sale price − supplier cost − shipping cost. This is visible to admin only.

Can vendors manage their own shipping rates?

Per-vendor shipping rules allow each vendor to set their own shipping zones and rates. Marketplace-wide default rates apply as fallback. Vendors manage their own products, inventory, and order fulfilment from their dashboard.
