Retail and Wholesale. Same Store. Right Price.
Role-based pricing applied on login, tiered volume discounts, EU VAT exemption via real-time VIES validation, and supplier purchase orders — all native in StoreEngine. No extra plugin, no separate wholesale store.
What does your B2B operation need?
Wholesale price applied the moment they log in.
Assign the “wholesale” role to a customer and they see their price across the entire catalog on login — no coupon code, no separate store. Stack additional quantity-tier discounts on top using the Dynamic Pricing rule engine with AND/OR condition groups and 4 stacking modes.

B2B VAT exemption validated in real time. Applied automatically.
Business buyers enter their VAT registration number at checkout. StoreEngine validates it against the EU VIES database and UK HMRC in real time. Valid business buyers get 0% VAT (intra-EU reverse charge) applied automatically — no manual approval needed.
Supplier database, POs, and auto-restock on receipt.
Maintain a supplier database with lead times and cost prices per SKU. Create a purchase order, send it to the supplier, and track status through to receipt. When items arrive, stock levels update automatically across all locations.

Tag customers into groups. Attach pricing rules per group.
Create named customer segments — VIP, Distributor, Partner, Reseller — and attach pricing rules, exclusive coupons, or catalog restrictions to each group. Customer Coupon Dashboard shows eligible codes on the account page so buyers always know their discount.
True margin on every B2B order. Invoice attached automatically.
Set cost of goods, shipping cost, and packaging cost per product. Net profit is calculated per order, locked at time of sale, and hidden from staff. PDF invoice and packing slip are auto-generated and attached to every order confirmation email.

StoreEngine vs WooCommerce B2B
WooCommerce needs 4–5 paid extensions to match what StoreEngine ships natively. And they still conflict.

Common Questions
Can I run retail and wholesale pricing on the same store?
Yes. Retail visitors see public prices. Wholesale buyers see their discounted price the moment they log in — no coupon code, no separate store required. Role-based pricing via the Dynamic Pricing engine handles the switch automatically.
How does EU VAT exemption work at checkout?
The buyer enters their VAT registration number at checkout. StoreEngine validates it in real time via the EU VIES database or UK HMRC API. Valid business buyers get the intra-EU reverse charge applied — 0% VAT — automatically. The result is stored on the order record.
How do purchase orders work with inventory?
You create a PO for a supplier, listing the products, quantities, and unit costs. When the supplier confirms shipment you update the status. On receipt, stock levels update automatically at the designated location. The PO cost price is used for COGS tracking on resulting sales.
Can different wholesale customers get different prices?
Yes. Customer Groups let you create named segments — Distributor, Partner, Reseller — and attach a different Dynamic Pricing rule to each. A Distributor can get −30% while a standard Reseller gets −20%, all managed from one rule dashboard.
Are invoices generated automatically?
Yes. A PDF invoice is generated per order and attached to the order confirmation email automatically. You can also download invoices from the order admin screen. Packing slips are generated separately for the fulfilment team.
Does StoreEngine work for both B2B and B2C on the same site?
Yes — this is a core design goal. Retail visitors browse at public prices. Wholesale buyers log in and see their rate. Both use the same product catalog, the same checkout, and the same inventory. No separate WordPress installs or stores needed.
