StoreEngine simplifies product management for your online store by allowing you to create and customize products with ease. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to add a product, set pricing, manage subscriptions, and more.

How to Create a Product in StoreEngine?

Whether it’s a one-time product or a subscription-based item, StoreEngine gives you complete control to configure and update your product catalog.

Step 1: Access the Products Section

From your WordPress dashboard, go to StoreEngine > Products.

Create a product in StoreEngine by accessing the Products section.

You’ll see the Products List, displaying all the products currently available.

To create a new product, click the + Add New Product button, which will take you to the product creation page.

Step 2: Add Basic Product Information

 Product Title: Enter the name of your product in the relevant text box.

Product Description: Provide a detailed description of the product, including its features, benefits, and specifications.

Step 3: Set Pricing

[Click the Create Product button and create or draft the product to enable the pricing option]

Scroll down a bit and click the Add Price button to define the product’s price settings.

Pricing Type: Input the type of pricing (e.g., “Lifetime”).

Click Add Price and choose the One-Time option.

Enter the product’s price under Price and the original or higher price under Compare Price if there’s a discount.

Optionally, enable the Expire toggle to set an expiration period for the product.

 For subscription-based products, set up recurring payments. You’ll need to specify the subscription cycle (e.g., every week, month, or year).

Click Add Price and choose Subscription.

Enter the Price and Compare Price.

Set the payment frequency (e.g., days, weeks, months).

You can also add a Setup Fee if applicable. Provide the fee name and the amount to charge for initial setup.

Also, enable Trial Days if you want to offer a free trial period.

Step 4: Configure Additional Options

Expiration: Toggle this option to set an expiration period for the product. Specify the number of days after which the product will expire.

Upgradable: Enable this option to allow customers to upgrade to a higher-tier product in the future.

Trial Days: If applicable, offer a trial period by enabling the Trial Days toggle and setting the number of days for the trial.

Step 5: Add Product Categories and Tags

 Product Category: You can create a new category or select an existing category for the product. If relevant, select a parent category to organize your products better.

Product Tags: Add relevant tags to help customers find your product more easily. Separate each tag with a comma.

Step 6: Upload Product Images

 Product images play a crucial role in showcasing your product. Click the Upload button to use WordPress’s default media manager to upload images. Choose high-quality images to help the product stand out.

Step 7: Finalize and Publish the Product

 After filling in all the necessary information, click the Create Product button. This will save your product and make it live in your store.

If you need to make changes later, go to StoreEngine > Products > All Products to edit or delete any product.
