Getting Started
Step 1: Enable the Membership Addon
Go to your StoreEngine Dashboard. Navigate to Addons. Locate the Membership Addon and toggle it ON.
Once enabled, you’ll see a new menu titled Access Group in the StoreEngine sidebar.
Creating a Membership Access Group
Step 2: Add a New Access Group
Click on Access Group from the StoreEngine sidebar. Select Add Access Group.
Step 3: Configure Access Group Settings
Name your access group.
Choose your Protected Content Type:
- Single Page Protection – restrict access to specific content.
- Global Access Control – protect multiple areas under one group.
Set the Redirect URL – where users will be sent upon login.
Toggle Button Login to allow one-click access for members.
Optional: Enable Membership Expiration if you want to set time-limited access. Define the duration in days, weeks, or months.
Click Create Access Group to save.
Creating a Membership Product
Step 4: Add a New Product
Go to the Products section in StoreEngine. Click Add New Product.

- Enter a Product Name. Write a Short Description of the membership.
- Enable Auto-Fill to pre-load standard settings.
- Upload a downloadable file (e.g., a PDF, course material, etc.). Enter a File Name to identify the downloadable item.
- Assign the product to a category like Memberships to keep it organized. Click ‘Create Product’ — this will unlock pricing and other advanced options.
Setting Pricing Options
Define how much your membership will cost and set up flexible pricing if needed.
Click Add Price within the product editor. Choose Price Type as One-Time for a single payment access. Enter your Price. And also, add a Compare Price to highlight discounts.
Click Add Price to save the pricing information.
Connecting Product to Membership Access
You now need to connect the product to the correct access group so members receive access after purchasing.
- Go to the Integration section of the product.
- Click Add Integration.
- Select StoreEngine Membership as the integration type.
- Choose the Access Group you previously created.
- Select the corresponding Price Option.
- Click Add Integration to link everything together.
Customize all the others fild available and click Update Product to finalize all changes and publish your product live.
Member Experience
Here’s what your members will experience after purchasing:
- They will instantly gain access to protected content and downloadable items.
- If you’ve enabled membership expiration, their access will automatically end once the duration expires.
