StoreEngine offers an easy-to-use coupon management feature for your online store. Whether you want to provide discounts, free shipping, or special offers, StoreEngine allows you to create, manage, and apply coupons with flexibility. In this guide, you’ll learn how to create a coupon, set restrictions, manage usage limits, and customize discounts according to your store’s needs.
Step 1: Access the Coupons Section
From your WordPress dashboard, go to StoreEngine > Coupons.
You will see a list of all existing coupons, categorized under:
- All: Shows all coupons.
- Publish: Coupons that are currently active and available for use.
- Draft: Coupons that are saved but not yet published.
- Pending: Coupons that are awaiting approval or changes.
- Trash: Coupons that have been deleted.

Each coupon category will display fields like:
- Coupon Name
- Offer (type of discount offered)
- Usage Limit
- Time Duration
- Status
- Actions (edit or delete options)
Step 2: Add a New Coupon
Click on the + Add Coupon button to start creating a new coupon. A new window will appear with the following sections:

Coupon Details
Coupon Name: Enter the name of the coupon (e.g., “Black Friday”).

Coupon Code: Input a unique code that customers will use to redeem the coupon (e.g., “BFCM24”).
Also you can generate random code by clicking on the “ Generate Random Code”
Purchase Requirements
No Purchase Requirements: Select this if the coupon can be applied to any purchase.

Minimum Items in Quantity: Set a minimum number of items that must be in the cart for the coupon to apply.
Minimum Amount Spent: Specify a minimum order amount before the coupon becomes valid.
Time Duration
Forever: The coupon will be available indefinitely.

Set Time Limit: Choose this option to set a start and end date for the coupon’s availability. You will need to select the Start Date and End Date.
To Use Coupon For
In this section, you can choose the type of discount the coupon will offer:
- Free Shipping: The coupon will cover all shipping costs.

- Percentage Discount: Enter a percentage to discount from the total purchase.
- Fixed Amount: Set a fixed amount that will be deducted from the total order value.
Coupon Usage Limit
In this section, you can choose the limit of the discount coupon:

- Unlimited Per Customer: Customers can use the coupon as many times as they want.
- Fixed Limit Per Customer: Set a specific number of times a customer can use the coupon.
Who Can Use the Coupon
In this section, you can choose the type of customers who can use the coupon:

- All Customers: Available for all store customers.
- New Customers Only: Limited to customers making their first purchase.
- Current Customers Only: Restricts usage to customers who have made previous purchases.
Step 3: Finalize and Publish the Coupon
After filling out all the required fields, click the Create Coupon button to save and publish the coupon. It will now appear in the coupon list under the relevant category based on its status (published, draft, etc.).
