The StoreEngine Affiliate System empowers you to grow your eCommerce business by leveraging affiliate marketing. With this system, you can track referrals, manage affiliate commissions, and automate payouts—all from your StoreEngine dashboard.

Follow this complete guide to configure and use the StoreEngine Affiliate Addon effectively.

Enable the Affiliate Addon

Navigate to your WordPress Dashboard. Go to StoreEngine → Addons. Locate the Affiliate Addon and click Enable.

After enabling, go to StoreEngine → Settings → Affiliate to configure the addon.

Referral Tracking

This section allows you to define how affiliate referrals are tracked on your site.

  1. Allow Referral Tracking

Enable this toggle to allow referral tracking on your store. This must be enabled to track affiliate link visits and purchases.

  1. Referral Type

Choose how you want to assign credit for a referral:

  1. First Referrer: Credit goes to the first person who referred the customer.
  2. Last Referrer (Recommended): Credit is given to the most recent referring affiliate before the purchase.
  3. Referral Tracking Length
  4. Define the number of days the tracking code (usually a cookie) should last after a user clicks an affiliate link.
  5. Example: Set to 60 days to remember referrals for 2 months.

  1. Commission Type:
  2. Percentage – Give affiliates a share of the order total.
  3. Flat – Give a fixed amount per referral.
  4. Commission Rate: Enter the percentage or flat rate (e.g., 10% or $5).
  5. Allow Auto Commission: Enable this to allow commissions on repeat purchases automatically.
  6. Allow Zero Commission (optional): Enable if you want to permit zero-value commissions (for record purposes or testing).

Still under StoreEngine → Settings → Affiliate, scroll to the Withdrawals section:

Minimum Withdraw Amount: Define the minimum amount required before an affiliate can request a payout.

Available Payout Methods:

  1. PayPal
  2. E-Check
  3. Bank Transfer

Make sure to click Save after configuring all these settings.

Manage Affiliates

Go to StoreEngine → Affiliate to manage your affiliate network.

Add New Affiliate. Click on Add Affiliate.

  1. Enter the affiliate’s name, email, and other details.
  2. Assign their current Status (active, pending, etc.).

You can also choose existing customers or users from your WordPress user list and convert them into affiliates.

Navigate to StoreEngine → Affiliate → Commission to handle commissions.

  1. View a list of affiliate commissions.
  2. Update or approve commission statuses.
  3. Add commissions manually if needed.

StoreEngine allows store owners to create payout requests on behalf of affiliates.

All requests appear in the Payout Requests list.

You can approve, reject, or process requests based on your store’s policies.
