Welcome to the official guide for StoreEngine Membership—your all-in-one solution to offer exclusive access, boost engagement, and manage membership tiers with ease. Follow this step-by-step tutorial to activate, configure, and sell membership-based content using StoreEngine.

Getting Started

Step 1: Enable the Membership Addon

Go to your StoreEngine Dashboard. Navigate to Addons. Locate the Membership Addon and toggle it ON.

Once enabled, you’ll see a new menu titled Access Group in the StoreEngine sidebar.

Step 2: Add a New Access Group

Go to StoreEngine → Access Groups.

Step 3: Configure Access Group Settings

  1. Fill in the following:
  • Group Name (e.g., “Marketing Hub”)
  • Unauthorized Message: A short message shown to non-members (e.g., “This content is for members only.”)
  1. Under Protected Content, choose the content you want for membership (Entire Website). You can also exclude item that you do not want to exclude from the membership.
  1. You can drip your content to release it gradually over time instead of granting full access immediately.

Optionally, add Feature Highlights to display on the pricing/membership page.

Set the Price for membership:

  1. Select your previously created product or put your regular price and compare price then click on add price. And your product will create automatically. 

If the price button is inactive, make sure the group is publish first, then try again. 

Note: In case you select your previously created product then you can have the option for predefined pierce or custom price. From the predefined are click on the price box, then the price will show and you can select that. If you not want this then you can go for custom option.

  1. Next Set the Access Expiration:
  • Either a fixed number of days (e.g., 30 days) or a specific calendar date.

Configure advanced options:

  1. User Role Assignment upon purchase.
  1. Redirect URL for after-login navigation.

Click Update to save your access group.

Step 4: Test Membership Protection

To verify the membership system works:

Visit one of your membership item from your website in a private/incognito browser.

Test Membership Protection

The content should now be restricted and display your unauthorized message.

Once a user purchases the membership, access will be unlocked.
