The Stripe Addon for StoreEngine allows you to accept credit card and other secure payments directly on your eCommerce site. This guide walks you through enabling and configuring the Stripe payment gateway

Enable the Stripe Addon

Navigate to StoreEngine → Addons. Find the Stripe Addon in the list. Click the Enable toggle to activate the addon.

A gear icon (⚙️) will appear next to Stripe—click it to access the configuration settings.

After activating the Stripe addon:

  1. Navigate to StoreEngine → Settings → Payment Methods.
  2. You’ll see Stripe added as a new payment method.
  3. Enable Stripe by toggling the switch.
  4. Click Configure to open the Stripe settings.

To integrate Stripe, you’ll need your Publishable Key and Secret Key from your Stripe account.

To use Stripe you will need a Publishable Key and Secret Key, to get this we refer you to Striepe documentation Api Keys.

After you have get the Publishable Key and Secret Key navigate to the StoreEngine Stripe Settings, switch to Live Mode, and paste the new credentials.

Also you can enable payment via saved cards, with this user will be able to pay with the saved card details.

Lastly Click Verify, then Save.

Stripe is now fully integrated into your StoreEngine-powered website. Your customers can securely make payments using their credit/debit cards or supported wallets through Stripe.

Managing Saved Payment Methods

To manage saved payment methods, users can easily delete a saved card from their Frontend Store Dashboard. First, navigate to the Store Dashboard and click on the “Payment Methods” tab in the sidebar. Find the card you wish to remove and click the “Delete” link next to it.
