What it does: Adds a heart button across your store so shoppers can save products for later. Logged-in customers keep their wishlist on their account; guests keep it in their browser. A live count badge shows how many items are saved.
Built-in feature — no add-on needed. Just switch it on.
Turn it on
- Go to StoreEngine → Settings → Products.
- Tick Wishlist.
- Save.
A heart button now appears automatically on shop cards, single-product pages, and Quick View.
Show the wishlist page
Add this shortcode to any page (e.g. a page called “My Wishlist”):
[storeengine_wishlist]— the full wishlist page (a grid of saved products).
To show a live counter anywhere (for example next to a menu link):
[storeengine_wishlist_count]— a number badge that updates as items are added or removed.
How it’s saved
- Logged-in shoppers — saved to their account, so their wishlist follows them across devices.
- Guests — saved in the browser, so it stays on that device until cleared.
Troubleshooting
- No heart button showing — confirm Wishlist is ticked in Settings → Products and saved.
- The wishlist page is empty or missing — make sure a page contains the [storeengine_wishlist] shortcode.
