The Multi-Vendor add-on turns your store into a marketplace where independent sellers list their own products, fulfill their own orders, and earn money minus your commission.
Plan: Free + Pro (Beta) Add-on: Multi-Vendor Where: StoreEngine → Multi Vendors
Turn On Multi-Vendor
- Go to StoreEngine → Add-ons.
- Toggle on Multi-Vendor.

| Note: A Vendors menu appears. A vendor account for you (the store owner) is created automatically. |
Configure Your Marketplace

Go to StoreEngine → Settings → Multi Vendor, then click Save Settings when done.
Commission
- Default rate – Your platform fee. Default: 10.
- Type – Percent (%) or flat amount. Default: Per cent (%).
| Note: Commission is locked at the rate active when an order is paid. Changing the rate later does not affect past orders. |
Vendor Signup
- Allow public vendor signup via [storeengine_vendor_signup] shortcode – Lets the public apply to become a vendor. Default: On.
Note: Add the shortcode [storeengine_vendor_signup] to any WordPress page to show the signup form. |
Owner / Default Vendor
- Automatically create a vendor record for the site administrator – Creates an admin vendor account on add-on activation. Default: On.
- Show the owner vendor publicly (store page + shop archive filter) – Shows your store in public vendor listings. Default: Off.
Withdrawals
- Minimum withdrawal amount – Smallest balance a vendor can cash out. Default: 50.
- Payment methods – Enable or disable per-method: PayPal (on), Bank transfer (on), Stripe (on).

- Add Badge – Enter a slug, label, and colour, then save.
- emove – Click Remove beside any badge to delete it.
| Note: Removing a badge does not automatically clear it from vendor profiles where it was already assigned. |
Publish a Sign-Up Page

- Create a new WordPress page (e.g. Become a Seller).
- Add the shortcode:
[storeengine_vendor_signup] - Publish and link to it from your menu.
How Orders Work in a Marketplace
- A single customer order can contain products from several vendors.
- Each vendor sees and fulfills only their own items.
- Your commission is calculated automatically when an order is paid.
